Primary Responsibilities
- Developmental Responsibilities
- Development and integration of mechatronic assemblies for complex medical systems.
- Capturing and defining technical requirements and specifications.
- Development of concepts for functional and mechanical safety, as well as for system integration of mechatronic components.
- Creation of function‑ and manufacturing‑ready 3D models, technical drawings, and design documentation.
- Analysis and implementation of concepts to reduce product costs without compromising quality, safety, or performance.
- Create component and system specifications and other quality related documents such as risk analysis, DFMEA, test and verification reports, etc. in compliance with international requirements (CE, FDA, MHLW).
- Planning and execution of tests to verify mechanical and system requirements, including evaluation and documentation of results.
- Structured preparation and maintenance of bills of materials (BOMs).
- Conducting tests to verify mechanical and mechatronic product requirements.
- Optimization and maintenance of products and systems to ensure stable and reliable operation as part of the product lifecycle management process.
- Specific Responsibilities
- Performing of engineering tasks during setup and start-up of prototypes.
- As needed, coordinate, organize, and track engineering tasks on a task- or project-specific basis.
- Assisting the project management with the planning of engineering-related tasks.
